Painting and decorating for your home
From one bedroom to a whole-house refresh, we handle the lot: walls, ceilings, woodwork, staircases and everything in between — prepped properly and finished cleanly.
Most of our work is in people's homes, and most of it comes from recommendations. The reason is simple: we treat the preparation as seriously as the painting, and we treat your house like someone lives in it — because someone does.
South Manchester's homes are full of character and full of awkward detail: original coving, picture rails, panelled doors, deep skirting, sash windows. That detail is exactly where cheap work shows. Cutting crisp lines around a ceiling rose or getting gloss work smooth on hundred-year-old timber is slower, but it's the difference you see every day for the next decade.

Can you work around us living in the house?
Yes — that's the normal way. We seal off the room we're working in, keep dust down, and leave you with usable space every evening. Whole-house jobs get sequenced so you're never without a kitchen or a bedroom.
How long does a typical room take?
A standard room with sound walls is usually two days: one for preparation and first coats, one for finishing. Add time for stripping paper, repairing plaster or lots of gloss work — the quote will say exactly what's included.
Do you do small repair work before painting?
Filling, caulking, minor plaster repairs and stain blocking are part of the prep on almost every job. Anything bigger — full skims, new boards — we'll flag at quote stage so there are no surprises.
